A T20 cricket tournament is being held by the film industry of Kannada with an aim to raise funds for the KFDA or the Kannada Film Dancers Association. Named after the Kannada film legend Rajkumar, this tournament commences from the 25th of July.

The rehearsals for the tournament is being held at the Central College grounds, Bangalore. Several top rated stars of the industry are actively getting involved in the tournament along with Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Ganesh, Darshan and Ravichandran to name a few. The organizers have also planned to hold a cultural program after the cricket contest. The winners of the tournament would be awarded with the trophy and the collectively gathered money would then be circulated amongst the Kannada Film Dancers Association in form of welfare.

The film industry is taking the entire welfare program quite seriously. Several actors and technicians were seen at net practice on Sunday. Anaji Nagaraj, Tarun Sudhir, Sathya, Murali Mohan, Ba Ma Harish and Ajith were some of the actors who were seen practicing.
