RCom says it is ready for acquisitions in India
Chief Executive of Reliance Communications (RCom), Anil Ambani, has revealed that his company is open to acquisitions in India. He has also said that RCom is now keeping an eye on the domestic market and is looking for proper opportunities to improve its channel.
According to Anil, the Indian domestic market is having a huge potential and possesses mammoth business opportunities for numerous Indian as well as overseas companies. The market is vast and dynamic. Hence, the company is prepared and open to every opportunity, said the CEO.
According to RCom President, Mahesh Prasad, the company is now even looking forward to manage some of the prospective domestic acquisitions. But the right opportunity is all that the company is looking for. It has announced that it will soon be crossing 100-million mark in the wireless segment across the country. It can explore the market with both acquisition and expansion processes.
As per Prasad, RCom is also looking forward to add another 100 million customers in the next 1,000 days. Rather than going for an immediate expansion in operations for the overseas market, the company will prefer to consolidate its stand in the domestic market first.
