Red Cross in urgent need of blood donors

Red Cross in urgent need of blood donorsThe American Red Cross Blood Services, New York-Penn Region is in urgent need for blood donors. The society is inviting donors to replenish the blood supplies. The urgency has arisen due to cancellation of Blood Donation Camps as a result of bad weather.

The Red Cross has requested donors who had to cancel blood donation due to bad weather to re schedule their blood donation appointments. Students have been requested donate blood at a local drive on a holiday break.

Blood donation camps have been scheduled throughout the week. The venues of these can be located at donatebloodnow. org. Certain local donor centers would open on December 24, Christmas Eve, including:

Red Cross Donor Center, 786 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Red Cross Blood Donor Center, 5161 Camp Road, Hamburg, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Red Cross Donor Center, 4627 Transit Road, Williamsville, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
