3000 former naxalites to join Chiranjeevi''s partyHyderabad, Feb 22 (ANI): Around 3000 former naxalites will join the newly formed party Prajarajyam on February 24 in Hyderabad.

The maoists will formally join the party in the presence of Prajarajyam Party (PRP) Chief Chiranjeevi and Yuvarajyam President Pavan Kalyan.

The Marxist Leninist singer Gadar along with other pro-naxal intellectuals and actor Chiranjeevi have been repeatedly trying to mobilise the former rebels and bring them into PRP.

IT officials start interrogating Raju

Andhra Pradesh MapHyderabad, Feb 21 : The income tax officials have started interrogating former Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju at the Chanchalguda jail here in connection with the 7,800 crore accounting fraud.

The four-member I-T team is likely to grill Raju on several issues, including whether the money had been siphoned off or he had inflated the income.

The 6th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of a Hyderabad court on February 18 had allowed the I-T department to question Raju.

The CBI, which has taken over the probe, said a consultative mechanism was being worked out with all departments concerned.

Satyam case: Hyderabad court dismisses bail plea of Raju brothers, Srinivas

Satyam ComputerHyderabad, Feb 18 : A city court in Hyderabad today dismissed the bail petitions of Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and former CFO V Srinivas, all of them whom are lodged in the Chanchalguda Jail here.

The sixth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate dismissed the bail petitions.

A case has been filed against Raju under Sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 468 (forgery for cheating) and 477-a (fraudulent cancellation of securities) of IPC.

On Tuesday, the sixth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate reserved orders for Wednesday after hearing arguments over SEBI''s petition.

Earlier, the SEBI had interrogated Ramalinga Raju, former chief of embattled Satyam Computer Services Limited, and his brother, Rama Raju.
