Lahore, Mar. 25 : Former Pakistan Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has expressed concern over the relentless military intervention in the country's politics.
Sharif said that stability in Pakistan cannot be achieved until the Army's intervention is stopped.
"We have to stop military intervention forever. There must be no military intervention in the politics in future," The News qouted Sharif, as saying.

According to the New York Times, the Obama administration, which is in the process of fine tuning its strategy toward Pakistan and Afghanistan, has to decide whether Sharif, 59, a populist politician close to Islamic parties, can be a reliable partner?
Lahore, Mar. 25 : While speculations are rife that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would join hands again for forming a government in Punjab, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has ruled this possibility out.
Talking to media persons here, Sharif said his party would cooperate with the federal government without asking for any cabinet space.
He expressed the hope that the Charter of Democracy (COD) would implemented soon, and also called upon President Asif Ali Zardari to fulfill his promises.
Lahore, Mar. 25 : Following the reinstatement of deposed judiciary in the country, former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf is headed for some trouble as a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court (SC) seeking his trial on the charges of sedition.
A petition filed by one Zahid Hussain Malik accuses General Musharraf of disseminating subversion of the Constitution by appointing the PCO's after dismissing superior judges including the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Lahore, Mar. 23 : The sale of SIM cards has gone down in Pakistan since the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) implemented the new verification system for new cellular connections following the recent terror attacks.
The PTA has asked all cellular service providers and their franchisees to sell SIMs (subscriber identity modules) after proper verification.
Owners of franchisees are not happy with this development.
