London, Nov 10 : British actress Sienna Miller has confirmed her split from married oil heir and actor Balthazar Getty.

The actress confirmed her new single status at the Hollywood Dominoes: VIP Launch.

She told Us Weekly magazine that it’s better to not have a relationship that is constantly under media spotlight.

“I’m single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that,” the Sun quoted her, as telling the magazine.

“It’s nice not to have a relationship that is constantly scrutinized and discussed.

London - A report by the British intelligence services has claimed that "some thousands" of militant Islamists are active in the country, the Sunday Telegraph has said.

The document, which the paper describes as being drawn up by the intelligence service of the Ministry of Defence, the internal security organization MI5 and the police's Special Branch, identified the cities of London, Birmingham and Luton as particular centres of Islamist activity.

London, Nov 9 : Priests should be allowed to marry, according to a leading candidate to become the next head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales.

The Rt Rev Malcolm McMahon, Bishop of Nottingham, said that there is no doctrinal reason preventing them from getting married.

For centuries, Roman Catholic priests have been required to take a vow of celibacy, but Bishop McMahon argued that this now seemed unfair following the influx of married Anglican clergy. 

His comments are set to reignite the debate over whether the Church should put an end to the tradition in order to tackle the problem of shortage of priests.

The Aussie singer revealed that cracks began to show on their close bond after Simon started to ‘snub’ her away to be with ‘Girls Aloud’ stunner Cheryl Cole who is the new girl joining the judging panel.

“I guess Simon and I don’t talk much any more, definitely nothing like last year when I was next to him on the panel and was also the new girl,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

The 25-year-old, who insists that her appetite for sex is nothing less than an illness, admitted that her addiction led her to turn towards the Internet as the hunting ground – no matter if the men turned out to be ugly.

“That’s another sad parts of this problem — my desire for sex overrides any quality control issues,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

“It doesn’t matter to me how it happens or what they look like and it’s a bonus if they’re well-endowed,” she added.
