Lewis Hamilton racially abused by Spanish F1 fans again

Lewis HamiltonLondon, October 31: Ace car racer Lewis Hamilton has once again been racially abused by Spanish Formula One fans, ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Over 16,000 racist messages have been posted on a Spanish website, which use terms like “nigger” and “half-breed” to denote the British racing driver.

The website allegedly encourages visitors to leave imaginary nails for Hamilton on a computer mock-up of the Interlagos racetrack.

Spanish fans of Hamilton''s rival, Fernando Alonso, are believed to be behind the outrage.

Sienna Miller slaps paparazzi with lawsuit over ‘harrassment’

Sienna MillerLondon, Oct 31: Sienna Miller has taken a paparazzo to court claiming that her life was made intolerable by a "campaign of harassment" by pursuing photographers.

The details of the alleged campaign came to surface during a preliminary hearing as the actor launched legal proceedings against the Big Pictures photography agency.

Why eating red meat may be hazardous for your health

Red MeatLondon, Oct 30: An international research team has given two reasons why eating red meat could be bad for you: it increases risk of food poisoning in humans and a regular diet of the animal product can make people more susceptible to E. coli.

The study has been published in Nature.

According to University of California, San Diego School of Medicine professor Ajit Varki, M. D., the team has uncovered the first example of a bacterium that causes food poisoning in humans when it targets a non-human molecule absorbed into the body through red meats such as lamb, pork and beef.

Spurs announce new stadium plan

London - Tottenham Hotspur confirmed Thursday that they intend to press ahead with plans for the construction of a 60,000-capacity stadium near White Hart Lane.

Results released to the stock market revealed details of a large-scale plan that would also incorporate leisure facilities and housing.

"The scheme includes the current site and adjoining land with the stadium sited largely to the north of the existing one," chairman Daniel Levy explained in his statement.

The club has a waiting list of 22,000 for season-tickets, and considered a 70,000-capacity proposal, but were keen to remain close to their Haringey home.

London, Oct 30 English comedian Russell Brand is said to have yelled “Qué?” while he was in bed with Andrew Sachs’ granddaughter Georgina Baillie.

Baillie, 23, said that though he has a ladies’ man reputation, he was a “disappointment” in bed, the Sun reported.

Brand and Jonathan Ross’ abusive phone call to ‘Fawlty Towers’ actor Sachs, ended up with Brand quitting the BBC and Ross making a grovelling apology.

Brand further said that he took “full responsibility” for the offence caused, after the number of complaints about the pair’s radio humiliation of Sachs rocketed to 27,000.

Ross, 47, who has an 18million pounds three-year deal with the BBC, said he had made “a stupid error of judgment”.
