 Survey Report: Britons’ Hand Washing Habits Are Not Good  The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine undertook the survey on Britons’ hand-washing habits. The survey shows many Britons don’t wash their hands properly after visiting the washroom.  

October 15, is considered as the Global Hand-Washing Day to promote clean hands to ward off infection, specifically in developing countries.

London, October 18 : U. S. experts are urging cell phone users to exercise the same caution with their mobiles that they do to protect their computers from spam and virus attacks. 

The Georgia Institute of Technology Information Security Center (GTISC) says in its annual Emerging Cyber Threats Report that mobile devices can become targets for hi-tech criminals.

The report suggests that with the rise in the number of smartphone users, more applications will allow financial and payment infrastructure that employs them, and cyber-criminals will try to obtain such sensitive data.

British princes launch South African charity motorbike rally Johannesburg - Britain's Princes William, 26, and Harry, 24, started a 1,700-kilometre rally in aid of charity through South Africa Saturday.

The two set off from Port Edward on the east coast of the country with some 80 others in the early morning sunshine on the eight-day Enduro Africa 2008 trek.

Each participant paid 1,500 pounds (2,600 dollars) to take part in the event, raising 300,000 pounds for charities such as Harry's Sentebale (don't forget me), founded in 2006, which helps AIDS orphans in the mountainous kingdom of Lesotho.

Eva Murzyn from the University of Dundee, UK, asked 60 subjects, half of whom were under 25 and half over 55, to answer a questionnaire on the colour of their dreams and their childhood exposure to film and TV.

She also asked the participants to record different aspects of their dreams in a diary every morning.

"It will not help us to solve conflict with no economic development in those countries...We are avoiding taking the tough decisions that are needed," the former Finnish president told foreign journalists.

However, the 71-year-old said he basically remained optimistic about the future of world peace.
