Windsor, Oct 28 - Britain's Queen Elizabeth II has condemned last year's "appalling" terrorist outrage in Mumbai and praised Indians for showing courage.

"We are mindful that in a month's time India will mark the anniversary of the appalling terrorist attacks on Mumbai, in which so many Indians were killed," the British monarch told a state banquet hosted in honour of President Pratibha Patil Tuesday night.
