Leading electronic company, Samsung Mobile, has introduced the Samsung Marine B2100, a new outdoor mobile phone, in the Indian market. The new device comes with all the latest features required to make a mobile phone attractive from commercial point of view, in the highly competitive mobile phone market of the country.

The Marine B2100 comes with water resistant properties and anti-shock urethane material which can easily withstand bumps, bangs and scrapes. It is provided with IP57 certification and designed in accordance with specifications laid down by the U. S. Department of Defense.

There is no impact of heavy rain, fog, humidity, sand and extremely hot and cold temperatures on the device, even if it is dropped in one meter deep for a 30 minute span. Sunil Dutt , Country Head , Samsung Mobile Division, said, "Samsung Marine is the perfect companion for consumers who enjoy active outdoor activities."

The new phone is equipped with external loud speakers, flash light and noise cancellation features. Besides, it also supports 1.3 megapixel camera, camcorder, FM radio, a music player, Bluetooth and USB. The mobile, available in two colors-red and green, is priced at Rs 7,030.
