Samsung has recently released its three new R series notebook computers – Samsung R470, Samsung R518, and Samsung R522 – in the Indian market. Here are the specifications of the three Samsung notebooks.  

Samsung R470 is 2.23 kg notebook. The R470 features 14.0” HD (1366x768) SuperBright Gloss LED Backlit, 1.3 Megapixel Digital Motion Camera, and Spill proof keyboard. The notebook comes equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor  (T6400, 2.0GHz, 800MHz, 2MB), 2GB (DDR2 RAM / 1x2GB), 250GB (5400rpm SATA), nVIDIA GeForce G105M, 256MB GDDR3 (Ext. Graphics), SuperMulti Dual Layer (SATA) ODD, and eSATA. The R470 runs Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium. It supports Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR and HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface). The Samsung R470 is priced at Rs.48,364, backed by 1 Year International Warranty.

Samsung R518 is 2.55 kg notebook. The R518 features 15.6” HD (1366x768, 16:9) Gloss LED Backlit, 1.3 Megapixel Digital Motion Camera, and Spill proof keyboard. Samsung R518 is available in two configurations. The R518 runs DOS. The notebook supports Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR and HDMI. One configuration of the R518 comes equipped with Intel Pentinum Processor (T3400, 2.0GHz, 667MHz, 1MB), 2GB (DDR2 RAM / 1x2GB), 160GB (5400rpm SATA), Intel GMA 4500MHD, Shared Memory (Int. Graphics), SuperMulti Dual Layer (SATA) ODD, and eSATA. It is priced at Rs.33,637 (1 Year International Warranty). The second configuration of the R518 has the same features, but uses Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (T6400, 2.0GHz, 800MHz, 2MB). It is priced at Rs.38,689 (1 Year International Warranty).

Samsung R522 is 2.55 kg notebook. The R522 features 15.6” HD (1366x768, 16:9) Gloss LED Backlit, 1.3 Megapixel Digital Motion Camera, and Spill proof keyboard. Samsung R522 is available in two configurations. The R522 runs Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic. The notebook supports Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR and HDMI.
