Samsung Star Surpasses 10 Million Units Sale Mark In NovemberSamsung’s immensly popular fully touch screen phone, Samsung Star, has reached a new height as the company has claimed to sell more than 10 million units of it.

South Korean mobile phone maker said that its Star S5230 was among the best selling phones of 2009.

The phone has now surpassed 10 million units sale mark in November, which is a huge achievement for a device in such a short period of time.

The company said that the Star S5230 is the sixth mobile from Samsung that has actually crossed the sales mark of 10 million units.

The star has smashed the record of Samsung E250, which had taken ten months to reach the mark of 10 million units after its launch in November 2006.

According to Samsung, the sales hit a 5 million units mark in the first four months of its launch. Afterthat, around 700,000 units were sold in May and 900,000 units in June.

In July and August, sales were 1.6 million and 1.7 million units respectively. During September and October, the sales crossed the 2 million mark per month, and in November, it had crossed the milestone.

According to the reports, most of the sales had occurred in European countries and Latin American countries followed by China.
