Sap’s revenue increased 11% in 2013

Sap’s revenue increased 11% in 2013German business software maker, SAP has recorded strong growth in revenues from non-IFRS software and cloud subscription services during the year 2013.

The company said that its non-IFRS software and cloud subscription revenue rose 11 per cent at constant currencies to around 5.28 billion euros.  The Non-IFRS software and software-related service revenue also recorded a growth of around 11 per cent at constant currencies and 6per cent on currency valuations to 14.03 billion euros.  Non-IFRS total revenue grew 8 per cent on constant currencies and 4 per cent on actual currencies to an impressive 16.90 billion euros during the entire year.

Co-CEOs Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe said, "We are proud of having delivered another year of double digit growth, outperforming the market and expanding our margin, while at the same time investing in innovation and the cloud.  Based on our strong global momentum from 2013 we will accelerate the transition to the cloud by offering customers choice.  With all solutions moving to the Cloud powered by our real time platform HANA, we will simplify for our customers, extend our lead and drive growth that is more predictable and profitable for the long term."

The company is also a leading firm for cloud computing in the global market.  SAP HANA, the platform for real-time business applications, generated strong growth during eh year for the company as it has more than 3,000 HANA customers.  The company said that its 13 HANA software revenue increased 69 per cent at constant currencies to EUR664 million.
