Sensex Surges 102.02 Pts; Nifty At 6,134.85Indian bourses gained its lost ground today amid mixed Asian signals.

At 10.12 a. m., the 30-share index BSE Sensex gained 102.02 points (0.50%) to trade at 20,352.28.

In the meantime, the broad-based Nifty stood at 6,134.85, up 31.40 points.

Today, the Sensex belled the day on a flat note at 20,250.26, whereas the Nifty began with an increase of 17.95 points at 6,121.40.

Asian bourses gained on account of cheerfulness that international growth will gain momentum after a larger-than-approximated reduction in U. S. jobs stoked speculation the Federal Reserve will strengthen action to strengthen its financial system.

The top gainers list comprised Tata Motors, which surged 2.08%, Tata Steel grew by 1.87%, Sterlite Industries (India) gained 1.58%, Hero Honda Motors climbed 1.54%, RIL zoomed 1.51%and Hindalco Industries remained up by 1.31%.

In contrast, the losers' list consisted Bharti Airtel declined 2.13%, TCS dropped 0.93%, NTPC slipped 0.79%, Tata Power Company down 0.33%, Infosys Technologies fell 0.31%, and Wipro slashed 0.26%.

The BSE Mid and small caps surged 0.78% and 1.25% respectively.

The Metal index gained 268.85 points, followed by the Realty index climbed 47.02 points and the Auto index zoomed 116.54 points.

In contrast, the TECk index remained down by down by 17.66 points.
