Guwahati, Oct 30 : Several persons were injured in at least four serial blasts that took place in Ganeshguri, Fancy Bazaar, Dispur Road and Paan Bazaar areas of Guwahati this afternoon.

It is believed that the bombs were placed in cars.

TV channels showed footage of extensive damage, with cars and other vehicles going up in flames.

Nature of explosives is still unknown. Further details are awaited. (ANI)
