Sharp rolls out its first small screen ‘glass-less’ 3D display

SharpSharp Corp. has taken a step ahead in 3D technology by removing the need to wear glasses while viewing 3D content on mobile devices.

Japanese Corp which is known for innovation, has come with the latest innovation that evades the usage of gasless while viewing3D. The device that features a small-screen 3D display for mobile devices has taken a new direction in mobile devices.

The Japanese firm which is claimed to be one of the finest semi-conductors companies has claimed that it is one of the finest developed displays in mobile technologies which gives a close resemblance to a LCD and will be able to infiltrate 10 to 20 percent of the small screen displays by the end of this year.

In an official statement about the new device, the executive managing director, Yoshisuke Hasegawa, states, "In the 2D era, contents and infrastructure have spread from movies to homes, and from homes to mobile devices. Three-dimensional images that mostly inhabit big screens now are about to hit mobile terminals."

Applauding the achievements of Sharp Corp, the MD further said the company has been a technology pioneer since 1912 and explained the working mechanism of the device. It works by a 'switch panel' method, which when switched on, results in a fine grating on the screen which successfully stops light from the screen travelling in different directions, thus creating a 3D effect thereby producing the desired effect.
