Siemens hives off call-centre equipment business

Munich - Giant German electronics group Siemens AG said Tuesday it had reached an agreement with US-based private equity group Gores to takeover a 51 per cent stake in its troubled call-centre equipment unit.
Gores is to hold a 51 per cent stake in Siemens' SEN offshoot, while Siemens will retain a 49 per cent stake in the group. (dpa)
