Sleep proven a bliss- fosters memory boost
Research has proved that sleep aids in fighting fatigue and also in consolidation of memory and learning. It was observed that people who take a nap after learning a new task, for instance, remember it better than those who don't snooze or take break.
Obviously it’s a known fact that brain is still at work while taking a nap and increases its performance manifold, leading to a robust memory after that.
Not necessarily a nap is always required it’s the break that does its magic when it’s taken after finishing a task. The crux of the research was brain needs to flush out all the unwanted chores in order to focus on one. This was proved by performing experiment on students in NYU.
