Smith to be considered as Hussey and Hauritz take rest

Steve Smith, Nathan Hauritz, Michael HusseyA break is what Australian spinner Nathan Hauritz needed after the fantastic long summer season. Steve Smith has been sent in as his replacement, who earlier made his debut against Pakistan in a T-20 international at the MCG. The spinner has been rewarded for playing some important part for NSW and also bowled well in the lone T-20 match that he has played.

The spinner was greeted with a lot of praise by vice Captain Michael Clarke on his batting and bowling skills. The kind of encouragement and faith, the senior player has given will surely help the youngster give his best against the Windies.

Australia will battle for a clean sweep against the Windies in the last game at MCG on Friday. Opening batsman Shaun Marsh has already had injured back and is in doubts to be selected for the playing 11. The medical staff will confirm his fitness on the day of the match.
