Somdev gains 21 places in latest ATP rankingsIndia's no 1 Somdev Devvarman has moved up 21 spots to be at the 141st place in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings for men's singles released on Monday.

Somdev had made into the quarterfinals of the recently concluded South Africa Open at the Johannesburg. Somdev had defeated Xavier Malisse in his sojourn to the South Africa Open quarters.

Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi have also jumped 19 places to be at the 69th place in the men's doubles rankings. The Indo-Pak duo had won the men's doubles title in the South Africa Open.

Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi retained their previous men's doubles rankings of seventh and eighth along with their respective partners. Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza is also static at the 59th spot.

Meanwhile, US-based Indian Prakash Amritraj has slipped 22 places to be at the 222nd spot in the men's singles rankings.
