Son of Michael Douglas busted for methamphetamines New York  - The son of Michael Douglas was arrested in New York for possession of the drug methamphetamine with intent to distribute, the New York Post reported Monday.

Cameron Douglas, 30, was taken into custody on July 28 by agents of the Drug Enforcement Agency following an undercover operation, which determined that Douglas had some 250 grams of the drug, worth a street value of 18,000 dollars, the report said.

Douglas was previously charged in 2007 with felony possession of a controlled substance after police found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in. (dpa)
