Sony has claimed of offering its X8 phones soon in Indian market.

The mid range offerings comes latest by September end. Seemingly it sports a 3-inch display and has a 3.2 mp camera to boast off.

The company stages the phone to be fixed amidst the high ranged Xperia X10 and the lower mid-range Mini and Mini PRO handsets. It features an Android 1.6 and as mentioned above has a 3-inch display and comes with a 3.2MP camera positioned rear.

The phone is said to use the similar four cornered UI screen as of the X10 Mini and will be coming with Android 2.1 by the end of next month.

Sony Ericsson's official stated: "All of existing Android based phones from the Sony Ericsson portfolio would be updated to Android 2.1 in Q3, 2010."  He further adds that the update will aid in offering 720p video recording feature as of Xperia 10 also comes the DLNA support along with the offering.
