Sponsors using virtual media to promote their brands

Social-media observing firm has reported that out of 11 top sponsors, Nike is at the top of the list with 26% of share.

Nike’s soccer ad ‘Write the Future’ was launched on 20th May on Facebook and it had 14 million YouTube views.

In an interview social-media consultant Jay Baer has commented that it just like a unique way for big marketers who depend upon social media such as Facebook, Twitter & YouTube to tie their brand with a greatest sporting event in the world.

Interactive Marketing manager of Coca-Cola has said that instead of pulling where we are its better to go where they are and so we are moving to YouTube site to promote their brand in FIFA world cup.

Visa’s U. S. World cup marketing is now the major focus in social media center. Global sponsorship marketing head Jennifer Bazante has commented that they are using YouTube channel for a sweepstakes that will ask their fans to upload videos of their responses. Senior vice president of McDonalds’s has said that most of their effort will be based on local media.
