Shahrukh-Kajol starrer 'My Name Is Khan' has earned Rs 174.60 crore all through the world with India netting Rs 102.2 crore and global markets contributing a record high of 72.4 crore for a Bollywood flick.
MNIK has turned the largest earning Hindi movie in the Middle East at $3.3 million.
Mr. Vijay Singh of Fox Studios said that the film will be released in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria on March 10, and there are expectations that the number is likely to go much higher.
In United Arab Emirates, the film's earnings are almost on par with other hit films including Dark Knight, Transformers 2, Spider Man 3 and Twilight: New Moon.
Mr. Vijay added, "In other markets too, it continues to grow and has crossed over to non-diaspora audiences. In Indonesia, for example, the film has grown from 6 to 14 screens."
The film, directed by Karan Johar, revolves around the journey of an Indian family and their story after the 9/11 attacks on the United States. (With Input from Agencies)
