Student found guilty of hacking Sarah Palin’s e-mail

Sarah-PalinA student has been charged for obstructing justice and unauthorized access to a computer that belongs to Mrs. Sarah Palin. The name of the student is David Kernell. He has been sentenced for 20 years for the first charge of obstructing justice and one year for hacking. He had hacked Mrs. Sarah Palin's e-mail in 2008 when she was working on her US vice-presidency campaign.

On the other hand, Kernell's lawyer said what his client has committed should be considered as a college prank not as a crime. Kernell was a student of Tennessee University. But according to the prosecutors it was an attempt to harm election in illegal manners.

Mrs. Palin was the former governor of Alaska. After this verdict she has expressed her contentment and has written in her Facebook profile that she was very much grateful to the jury.

As they have given attention to her case and have found out the culprit. Kernell has also accepted that he had communicated with Palin's family during the campaign by hacking into her e-mail.
