London, Dec 27: Sugababe Amelle Berrabah’s boyfriend, Freddie Fuller, who was almost hacked to death in a dreadful machete attack on the Christmas Eve, most likely was the result of a long family dispute.

The detectives are still looking for the attacker and are convinced that the 25-year-old Freddie knew his attacker “pretty well. ”

Sources revealed that the attack came after a long running family feud.

“People close to Freddie believe the attack is the result of a family feud.

Amelle and Freddie’s close family are convinced they know who’s done this. They’ve given the name to police, ” The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

The 23-year-old singer had visited Freddie in hospital as he recovered from the street assault in Aldershot, Hants, in which his left arm was almost sliced off.

Doctors had earlier informed Freddie’s friends and family that they might have to amputate his left arm.

Onlookers revealed that the attack was so atrocious that his arm was left “hanging by a thread” after tendons were badly damaged in the attack.

However, his family and friends are happy on the success of the surgery.

“Everyone, including Amelle, was afraid Freddie would end up losing his arm. He’s a young man in the prime of life, so it would have been a cruel blow. But, touch wood, it looks like he’s now on the mend, ” a friend said.

Freddie had spend the evening with Amelle before the attack, however, she wasn't present at the time of the attack itself. (ANI)
