One more person succumbed to H1N1 in Rajasthan, raising the total number of swine flu fatalities in India to 105.

Health officials informed the media persons that a 26-year-old pregnant woman named Sheela Khandelwal, admitted to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) hospital with flu-like symptoms on August 19 died on August 21.

This is the first swine flu fatality in Rajasthan.

After receiving test reports from National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), Dr O P Gupta, director, Directorate of Medical and Health Sciences said, "Sheela Khandelwal has been confirmed of swine flu and hers has been the first death due to the disease in the state."

"Three persons -- Anil Kumar (26), Bhanwar Lal (20) and Sanjay (26) -- were also tested positive, while 20 others were tested negative," he said, adding "no suspected case was today reported in the state."

"Twenty one persons have been tested positive of the flu in the state so far, while 113 have been tested negative and 33 are still awaiting test reports across the state," Mr. Gupta added.

In Pune, a 7-year-old girl Priyanka Shimilkar, who was taken to government-run Sassoon Hospital on August 29, died of A H1N1 virus.

With this death, the total number of Swine Flu deaths in Pune has climbed to 32, which is highest in the country. Around 54 deaths due to Swine Flu were reported from Maharashtra.

A 31-year-old Software Engineer lost his life owing to Swine Flu in Bangalore, taking the total number of deaths in Karnataka to 28 so far.

On Tuesday, a 38-year-old man from Bangalore died of swine flu.
