Tata Docomo Enters North India By Rolling Out ‘GSM Services’ In Haryana

Tata-Docomo Adding one more feather to its crown, Tata Teleservices Haryana on Tuesday rolled out its GSM services under the Tata Docomo brand across the state.

Mr. Anil Kumar Sardana, TTSL Managing Director, launched the service by making the first phone call to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

In a message, Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata stated, "This launch is truly a moment of triumph for the consumer. The launch of pay-per-use, per-second concept offered by TATA-DOCOMO will create a paradigm shift in the overall telecom experience for the customer and provide a service that is refreshingly different."

The cellular company has launched the service with a new 'Pay-for-what-you-use' with a pulse of one second, and a pricing of one paisa per second.

TTSL has spent over Rs 300 crore on the launching of GSM mobile in the state.

The newly launched GSM service will cover 386 towns and 1,750 villages of the state.

Prior to this, Tata DoCoMo has rolled out its GSM services in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh.
