Lucknow, Mar 30: Underworld don Abu Salem will be produced in the special CBI court of Special Judicial Magistrate Saif Ahmad here today in connection with the 1993 fake passport case.

On March 17, the court set March 30 as the next date of the hearing.

Earlier, the Central bureau of Investigation (CBI) had issued a production warrant against Salem in the 15-year-old case.

Salem, his wife Damira Zumani and others are alleged for procuring passports on the basis of fake documents from the regional passport office at Lucknow.

Lucknow, Mar. 17 : In connection with the 1993 fake passport case, Under World don Abu Salem was produced in the special CBI court of Special judicial magistrate Saif Ahmad, who set March 30 as the next date of the hearing.

Amid tight security arrangements, Salem was taken from Kaisarbagh police station to CBI court for hearing.

Earlier, the CBI had issued a production warrant against Salem in the 15-year-old case.

Accused of 1993 Mumbai serial

New Delhi, Nov 26 : Accused of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts Abu Salem was produced in a court in New Delhi on Wednesday in connection with an alleged extortion call made by him to a businessman.

The court has allowed him to return to Mumbai for appearing before various courts in connection with other cases.

Salem is required to give a written undertaking that he would be present in New Delhi on December 12 for the next hearing in connection with the extortion case.

It seems that Monica Bedi’s behavior in the house of Bigg Boss is making imprisoned don Abu Salem unhappy. He has sent second legal notice to Bedi.

The notice states: "You (Bedi) are a married woman and if you want to marry some other man, you will first have to obtain divorce from Salem."

Abu Salem mentioned in the notice that he is "anguished by her liasions with another man" in the reality show. 

Salem said that he is stressed with Bedi's comments on the show that she would like to get married and settle down with the right guy.
