TCS inks pact with Malaysia Airlines

TCS-MAS-LOGOIndia's largest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has recently signed a deal with Malaysia Airlines for an undisclosed amount. While TCS expects the end-to-end IT infra-services to transform the working of the airlines, it is also aiming to deliver a seamless experience to the end user.

Faridah Abdul Rahman, Chief Information Officer, Malaysia Airlines believes that the deal will help the company to fine tune the IT services of the company and will help in maximizing the resources and hence lowering the operating costs.

TCS will also build a service management organization following the 'build, operate and transfer' method for the airline company. Vish Iyer, Head - Asia and Asia Pacific regions, TCS said that the company is very excited to partner with a company like Malaysia Airlines and the deal will the help the aviation company to gain ground in the global aviation industry.

Moreover, the efforts of the software company will also help MA to achieve its strategic business transformation objectives. Under the terms of the deal, TCS will be taking care of MA's date centers, IT security and the IT networks.
