Telstra recently claimed of revising of its earlier used Business DSL service and will upgrade to Telstra Business Broadband (TBB) Ethernet. According to the Australian telecommunications and Media Company: Telstra which aims of providing a better service which could drive the complementary services offered by the company like the, IP telephony and video conferencing and the current soaring cloud-based software and backup and recovery services, states Tim Lohman from Computerworld Australia.

According to the company officials this upgraded service is better than and also keeps tab on the cost cutting measures. It aims to provide higher speeds for smaller sized businesses at a minimal cost. Brian Harcourt, Executive Director, Telstra Business stated that it suits the Australia needs as the SMEs in the country are widely dispersed having branches in different regions and states this measure will prove to be effective. He further added: "TBB Ethernet means they can reliably run IT applications from a head office, rather than have to deploy equipment and send an IT person out to branch offices."
