New Delhi, Dec 11 - The capital woke up to a foggy morning Friday with the minimum temperature remaining above average. The met department predicts dense fog over the weekend.

"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 a. m. today was three degrees above the average, at 11.9 degree Celsius. The maximum will hover around 24 degree Celsius," an official of the India Meterological Department (IMD) said.

The visibility early Friday was 600 metres.

"The visibility this morning was a little low because of the fog. We are expecting an even denser fog to set in over the weekend," the official added.

However, no flight delays were reported.

"The flight operations have not been affected by the weather," an airport official said. (IANS)
