Tesco to provide cheap eye-care

TescoTesco, the supermarket giant is going to provide free eye testing. This will be provided to all those who are not entitled free NHS eye test.

They can now save as much as £15-£20 in their fees. The patients can also go to as many as 131 in-stores which will be available across UK.

It would also be easy for the people to find location of an eye testing center as they just have to go for a Tesco outlet.

The nearest Tesco optician could also be reached by going to the website and clicking on the 'Opticians available' box. This comes on the left hand side of the webpage.

Besides this, Tesco would also be selling glasses for as low as £10. This would mean the complete spectacles including the lenses and the frame.

Free eye test will also be provided to those who come for spectacles.

These services are a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives provided by Tesco.

Services like these become all the more important since NHS is getting strict as to providing medical services.
