Three-Month-Old Baby Boy fixes his Mother’s Broken Heart!

After being struck down by a rare virus, a critically-ill mother's heart was failing. But soon she made an incredible recovery after her sleeping three-month-old son was slept beside her on her hospital bed.

After contracting myocarditis, the 36-year-old Holli Cheung was left fighting for her life. The infection attacked her heart muscles badly and triggered two cardiac arrests.

She was in such a serious condition that according to medics the only chance to save her was a heart transplant.

But soon, the staff at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital saw a miracle when her husband Jason left little Jordan sleeping by his mother's side and that night her heart started beating again. The incredible recovery took place when Ms Cheung was reunited with her little baby boy for the first time ten days.

Ms Cheung said that she has no doubts that her baby has saved her. She added, "I have no idea what happened that night. All I know is that when the doctors and consultants came round on their ward rounds the next day, they were astonished to see my heart beating". She mentioned that after that night her heart slowly started becoming stronger.

Before her admission in the hospital, she had been suffering from headaches. She even visited her GP but there she was told that it was probably due to improper sleep.

Soon after coming back from the surgery, she fainted again. Then she was rushed to nearby Stoke Mandeville. From there she was transferred to Oxford's John Radcliffe.

In addition, Ms Cheung mentioned that she was advised to go home to rest. But just an hour after that when she held her baby her lap, she passed out and Jordan rolled off her lap on to the floor.

She added that next thing she came to know about was that she was surrounded by paramedics along with her husband Jason, and was on a stretcher on her way to hospital.
