Toyota agrees on the handling problems with Lexus
Toyota has agreed that there is a major handling problem with its Lexus. The company has asked its dealers to stop selling the GX 460 and has decided to start investigation as soon as possible. The company has said that the safety inspections of all its S.U.V. models have been done. The list includes models from Lexus and Toyota too.
However, the company has said that the errant slide has been duplicated by its engineers that had impelled Consumer Reports to issue a “don’t buy” warning on the 2010 Lexus GX 460. Apart from that, the report has acknowledged that the vehicle had some safety related problems.
A Lexus spokesman, Bill Kwong has informed that the duplicate Consumer Reports on the results on GX 460 has been evaluated by the engineers in Japan. They are working on to find out certain remedies.
Earlier it was in Consumer Reports that the vehicle has some dangerous handling problem. It has made the rear end of the Vehicle swerve and increases the risk of a roll over. However, the company has expressed its concern over the issue and is expected to act soon.
