Transcend, the famous manufacturer of portable storage solutions, has released a new black version of its ultra-compact USB flash drive, “JetFlash T3” measuring 30.3mm x 12.3mm x 2.4m. The flash drive T3 weighs only 2gm.

Due to its miniature size, the drive is extremely portable and can be stored safely in a wallet without risk of compression damage. Its tiny design also makes a perfect mobile phone dongle or a keychain accessory.

The JetFlash T3 is made with brand-name NAND Flash chips to assure the highest level of quality and long-life data retention

Transcend JetFlash T3 comes with a software suite, which includes security applications (256-bit AES Encryption), back-up tools and also the PC Lock feature, which allows the drive to be turned into a "hardware access key" to one's computer.

Additionally, users can also download and install the JetFlash elite data management tools, which provide an enhanced level of functionality.

The drive is compatible with Windows Me/2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS 9.0/OS X and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later.

The T3 is available in 1 and 2 GB versions and is available through Mediaman Infotech and Supertron Electronics. The price of 1 GB version is Rs 700 along with a lifetime warranty.
