Trump comments about Forbes Estimates over His Net Worth Again

Donald Trump took exception to the estimates of his net worth released by the Forbes magazine in its latest issue that showed him with nearly half the capital he originally has.

The magazine reported his net worth at $4.5 billion while the Republican candidate claimed that it originally turns out to be $10 billion.

"All I can say is Forbes is a bankrupt magazine, doesn't know what they're talking about," Trump posted. This is not the first encounter of Trump with the magazine. Earlier, in 1990, Forbes had recorded his net worth at $1.7 billion, which he claimed, was much lesser than his real worth of $3.7 billion.

This estimation came a year after the Republican was ranked 19th among the 400 richest Americans.

John O'Donnell, a Former President of Trump Plaza, one of Trump's casinos in Atlantic City, stated that the estimates appeared to be wrong and hinted at the possibility of the magazine being forced to issue corrected figures after few days.

Trump's fury had no end when the magazine reported that Trump was indebted, liable to pay about $180 million a year in interest. The magazine also noted that he earned $140 million a year from his properties.

Trump expressed his anger by saying that the magazine had a personal grudge against him and hence, repeated the "lowered" figures this year.

He attributed the "Vendetta" to his refusal to attend the 70th birthday party of Forbes' late editor Malcolm Forbes in Morocco in 1989.
