Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, President Obama to meet December 7

Washington  - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Washington on December 7 to meet with US President Barack Obama, the White House announced late Thursday.

The statement said that the two leaders would discuss "a broad range of strategic issues of mutual concern including implementing our shared strategy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, advancing economic and security cooperation with Iraq, advancing non-proliferation goals, promoting a settlement of the Cyprus problem, normalization of relations with Armenia, Middle East peace efforts and human rights."
