Two alleged lieutenants of drug lord Christopher Coke arrested in JamaicaThey arrested two alleged lieutenants of suspected drug lord Christopher "Dudus" Coke, police in Jamaica have said.

The Daily Gleaner has reported that the two men were among nine people arrested Sunday when police and soldiers raided a house where they believed Coke was hiding in affluent Kirkland Heights in upper St. Andrew.

No gunfire or injuries were reported in the arrests and the Gleaner did not specify charges.

On Thursday, as officers searched for Coke in Kirkland Heights, gunmen opened fire on them, and a businessman was killed inside his house.

The two men arrested Sunday were part of an alleged west Kingston criminal network led by Coke, sources told the newspaper.

Authorities have been searching for Coke since he eluded police capture in Tivoli Gardens in west Kingston May 24.

Sunday's raid turned up no weapons but police seized a Honda car and what he called key documents. He would not elaborate, Steve Brown, head of the Constabulary Communication Network, said. (With Inputs from Agencies)
