Two wheeler industry reports downfall this OctoberWith the markets plummeting world over, the nation’s two wheeler industry is also feeling the pain. The downtrend was noticed this October when India’s largest two wheeler maker reported a three percent decline at 3.52 lakh units, due to lower sales.

The company which noticed its retail sales over six lakh units this October was anticipating a slowdown as the much awaited festive season was over. Mr. Mr Anil Dua, Senior Vice-President, Hero Honda Motors Ltd said that they had consciously restricted their dispatch this time.

Bajaj, one of the leading two wheeler manufacturer, also reported a dip of 34 per cent drop in the festive month with coming out by 1.65 lakh units of sales whereas the third largest manufacturer TVS Motor Company showed a downfall of ten percent with 1.17 lakh units of sales in October.
