UK operators state that they will soon be making the smartphone available for the UK market.
The most prominent one being Vodafone and O2 who claimed of offering the fourth generation of Apple's iconic mobile phone, which was recently voted the eighth most important invention of all-time in a Tesco Mobile poll.
This version of iPhone comes with a longer battery life, a higher resolution display, and an improved 5 megapixel camera, and an additional second camera in the front for video conferencing. It also has multi-tasking mode and for the game enthusiasts a new "six axis" motion control system has been added.
Operating on the latest OS 4.0 this phone will be made available to all those who are still under contract a limited special offer, can upgrade to the iPhone 4.
To be offered by the June 24th Orange is soon expected to pronounce the release of this smartphone.
