Under the massive expansion plans for the Indian auto market, the Swedish auto maker Volvo has launched an upgraded version of its premium car S80 in India. Company's expansion plan includes new product launches and new upgraded variants of the existing models.

The new upgraded S80 carries twin-turbo diesel engine with power of 205 Hp and 420 Nm torque. Moreover the car gives an average of 13.1 Kmpl at carbon dioxide emission of 203gm/km. Its standard safety measures are ensured by the features like Intelligent Driver Information System, Adaptive Brake lights, Ready Alert Brakes that reduce braking distance in case of emergency.

The new S80's advanced technical features like maintenance free diesel particulate filter helps in making the exhaust gasses free from soot particles and its advanced emission control which helps in maintaining low nitrogen oxide level.

Volvo has used water based paints to enhance the usage of environment friendly solvents in order to express its social responsibility. The dashing sedan is available in 9 different colours.

The model S80 is available at ex-showroom, Mumbai price of Rs. 38.79 lakh and its ex-showroom, Delhi price is kept at Rs 37 lakh.
