Xerox Launches Mono Printers, MFPs Globally; Eyes More Channel Partners

Global document management company Xerox Corporation has made Xerox Rolls Out Mono Printers, MFPs Globallyannouncement about the launching of eight mono printers and multi-function printers (MFPs) in the Indian market, ahead of the rest of the world.

The global launch, which has been inaugurated from India, would be rolled out subsequently in 162 countries and highlights India as a major destination for Xerox Corporation.

Besides, the company plans to raise the number of channel partners in India and would spend around Rs 20 crore on marketing and promotion of its product range in the existing year (2008).

The newly launched product range is targeted at the aggressive small and medium businesses (SMB) sector. The cost of these products ranges from Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 3.17 lakh.

Princy Bhatnagar, Xerox India Director (Office business group), said that the company would add more than 150 new channel and sales partners in 2008 from the current 350.

“We also plan to expand our office business coverage to top 30 cities across India. We plan to reach out to Tier-II and Tier-III markets to accelerate the penetration in the SMB space. We will also be rolling out multi-city roadshows across top 15 non-metro cities to showcase our newly launched products. Our goal is to increase our market share and enhance participation in total laser market,” Mr. Bhatnagar added.
