YouTube’s dive due to a technical hiccup- Google
It wasn't a regular affair when the online- video sharing giant-YouTube, encircles with interruptions. YouTube which is a subsidiary of Google was interrupted due to a technical snag making the users wait for the video to resume back.
The message which perturbed the users stating "service unavailable" to all those who tried to access the site at around1100 GMT, resumed back to service at 1230 GMT, according to reports.
Google leaped ahead in the situation naming it as an act of technical outage. Further it was quoted by a spokeswoman from Google, "YouTube is up again following a technical issue which has now been resolved. We know how important YouTube is for people and apologize for any inconvenience the downtime may have caused."
It was the error message "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable" that flashed time and again. Though in case of individual videos no such error message was displayed and the video ran just fine, says a user.
However the cause for the snag remains unknown, as its Google's default policy 'not to discuss the technical reasons underlying any outage or crash'. Since things have turned to normal people have no reason to complain.
