Madrid - Christian Abbiati will not continue at Atletico Madrid next season.

This is the claim made on Friday by sports daily Marca.

According to Marca, the 30 year-old keeper in June will return to AC Milan, the club that loaned him to Atletico in July 2007.

Abbiati, 30, has played in 20 Liga matches this season but has
failed to convince. He has stood in for injured Argentine Leo Franco,
but without much success.

Atletico will be looking for another keeper as understudy to Franco for next season. (dpa)
