AMD unveils two new teraflops graphics cards in Indian market

AMD

AMD, global provider of innovative processing solutions in the computing, graphics and consumer electronics market has launched its AMD teraFlops (trillion floating point operations per second) graphic cards - the ATI Radeon HD4850 and ATI Radeon Hd 4870 - in the Indian market.

The two products were launched through a demonstration dubbed as Cinema 2.0 experience, showing the fusion of dynamic real time interactivity with cinematic digital effects.

Until today, content developers had to choose between cinematic realism rendered offline and absent of the rewarding sensory experience of interactivity, or an interactive experience that fell well short of photorealism.

The company claims that its AMD teraFLOPS chip is more powerful than every generation of game console ever brought to market. Further, the company expects that its graphic card will bridge the gap between cinematic realism and interactive gaming.
