Bikers’ contest to drive into city
Come Saturday and bikers across the city will be in high spirits, courtesy the Castrol Hunt for the Most Passionate Biker contest, which is all set to arrive in Ahmedabad.
The event, which will be held on the campus of the LD College of Engineering, has been scheduled in eight cities across India, with the finals to be held in New Delhi in April.
The competition will test the biking skills and knowledge of the participants, along with their style quotient. The winner will walk away with a Yamaha R1 superbike.
The first leg of the all-India competition was held in Pune on February 15, with local boy Piroz Kadri emerging as the winner after an exciting four-way tiebreaker. Malcolm Ilavia won a week later in Mumbai.
After Ahmedabad, the competition will move on to Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.
