Blanchett says Pitt’s ''annoyingly'' in love with Jolie

London, Jan 17: Cate Blanchett has said that she won't be working with Brad Pitt, her co-star in `The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', again - because he is ''annoyingly'' in love.

The actress jokingly said that of all the challenges she faced during the making of the film, the biggest problem came courtesy of Pitt.

"Honestly, to see how in love with Angelina he is, it was really quite disgusting. Awful in fact. It''s in my contract now: I won''t ever work with him again," The Telegraph quoted her as saying.

The two actors, who earlier worked together in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu''s 2006 drama Babel, are now playing lovers in `Button'.

Blanchett added: "We talked a lot about moisturiser, because there were so many prosthetics involved for both of us. I really shouldn''t complain, though, because Brad really went through the wringer with make-up and special effects.

She said: "You work until 10 o''clock at night and then you are maybe up at 4am the next morning because it takes six hours to get the make-up on."

"Plus, of course, Brad being annoyingly in love and the fact that we were so tired. We shot in New Orleans and the kids were always waking up in the middle of the night. So we weren''t getting much sleep."

The film sees Blanchett take on the role of Daisy, a dancer with whom the eponymous Button falls in love.

The film is director David Fincher''s adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald''s 1922 short story about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards.

While the news of Blanchett's retirement is making the rounds, the actress said that the only thing that might see her chuck it all is "having to work with Brad again!" (ANI)
