Deepika Padukone has already become the next big thing in bollywood, and it seems that this ‘Dreamy girl’ puts in a lot to get under the skin of the character. That’s why the hot beauty, who plays a double role in the upcoming film ‘Chandani Chowk to China’, one of an Indian and other of a Chinese girl, made that extra effort to look her best in the Chinese disguise.

The makeup artists were asked by the director Nikhil Advani to give Deepika a slant oriental look. To her nightmares, Deepika learnt that they were going to stick tapes around her eyes. The whole idea of sticking the tapes caused her concern and she consulted her doctor, who advised her against it since it may permanently misshape her eyes.  
 
Thanks to the makeup artist Mallika Bhatt, who came as saviour for the poor girl and just used the eyeliner in a different manner. The talented artist used the eyeliner in such a way that Deepika got those Chinese eyes without much pain. However, the Om Shanti Om girl had to undergo a tough training for four months before the film commenced.

Let’s just hope that her hard work pays off, and the film works for her.
