London, November 15: Dame Judi Dench, dubbed as ‘the real Bond girl by the co-producer of the hit franchise, may wave goodbye to the 007 flicks.

The veteran actress, who has played M for more than 10 years, is thinking of quitting the Bond series, as revealed by Barbara Broccolli.

“She is our anchor. She is the anchor of the film in terms of the character. She is the only authoritative figure in Bond''s life,” the Sun quoted her as telling Comingsoon. net.

Wagah Border (Punjab), Nov 15 : India released 28 Pakistan nationals on Friday after they had completed their respective jail terms.

The prisoners, released on the recommendations of Pakistan-India Judicial Committee on Prisoners, crossed over from the Wagah checkpost in Punjab.

Recounting her plight Farzana, a released prisoner, said: "I am going to Pakistan after 18 months. Someone had put fake currency in my bag and I was caught. My case went on for seven months and that is over, so, I am going back."

At least six workers were killed and several others injured Friday in an open pit mine in Orissa’s Jajpur district when a mound of earth collapsed on them.

“A group of workers had gone to a quarry to extract laterite in a mining area located under Sukinda police station. A heap of earth suddenly collapsed on them,” police SP of the district told.

Six bodies have been recovered from the debris as the fire brigade launched a rescue operation with the help of local residents

London, Nov 15 : Mouth bugs play a role in creating the distinctive flavors of certain foods, scientists in Switzerland have reported.

According to researchers, the bacteria help gives people the rich flavours of wine, onions and peppers.

They found that these bacteria actually produce food odors from odorless components of food, allowing people to fully savor fruits and vegetables.

The study has been published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

Washington, Nov 15 : Oscar winning actress Whoopi Goldberg is all set to take her blockbuster flick ‘Sister Act’ to the stage.

The actress, who had received critical acclaim for her part as singer-turned-nun Deloris Van Cartier in the 1992 film, has written a musical version of the movie.

And now, the stage version of the story will open in London next year (09).

However, Goldberg has claimed that she has no plans to reprise her role in front of live audience.
